Simple explanation[edit]
Those who go for 'single person limited companies' (for freelance etc work), shell and holding companies, offshore accounts and similar do not add FOTL status to their portfolio as they see being 'a legal person' (and even also 'a natural person' - using the legal terminologies) - therefore the logic is faulty.
And 'anyone familiar with the history of international law' - there was a legal case involving the status in the UK of a marriage in Rhodesia during the period of UDI (and possibly other cases) which might provide a perspective on the matter.
